02/15/17 MHS Tigers vs. Mankato East Girls Hockey

A spot in the state tournament was on the line. It was the No. 1 seed in the section verses the No. 2 seed. It's what high school playoff hockey in the State of Hockey is all about. It was a game that lived up to the hype. In the end it was the top-seeded Mankato East Cougars edging out the second-seeded Marshall Tigers, 4-2.
